Amanda Oliphant

I am a contemporary artist based on the Wirral Peninsula. My abstract paintings are sensory responses to the landscape, recording traces and marks we leave behind through energetic yet poetic compositions. Working intuitively and gesturally in my studio, on location and during residencies, I translate experience into expressive layered surfaces.
