Philip Barnes ARCA

Following careers in coal mining and engineering, I pursued my passion for art, ultimately earning an MA from the Royal College of Art. My practice is eclectic, spanning multiple styles to explore a wide range of ideas. I describe myself as a "conceptual painter," allowing each concept to determine its own approach and execution. I have exhibited extensively across the UK and internationally, and in recent years my focus has been on birds and animals, experimenting with diverse painting techniques.
